Primebar Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Service has always been excellent- we have come get numerous times on our own and with family and/or friends. The staff is alway super friendly and always willing to make drink they may not be familiar with- but if you bring the recipe- consider it done. I absolutely love the size of the bar- huge Buffalo- huge! Plenty of room for everyone and you have the benefit of two bars (one inside and one outside) with plenty of dining space and windows making the space cherry and fun. The food is pretty good too. Many of the items are typical bar fare but with a twist. I was a bit disappointed with the loaded kettle chips- as the chips have either been over or under cooked. Can't go wrong with the tacos - a little pricy but worth it. I hated macaroni and cheese as a kid, but they have four different spins on their and I actually make a point to come out of my way for the jalepeno and bacon style version. Just beware the Mac & cheese portions are on the big side - we usually order when is at least two people and share (is perfect for four people). On a side note, if you ever need a break the rules kind of day- give the fried egg burger a spin- I had them hold the pickles (personal preference) and was off the chart!

Come here on Tuesdays for their $6 burger when you buy a drink (can be a non-alcoholic beverage). Normally a burger here is 12-15 bucks. The burgers are delicious!!! I recommend the Primebar Burger if you like goat cheese and mushrooms! If not, the fried egg burger is where it's at

I have been back to Primebar a ton of times but wanted to update my review to include that they do have specials/update menus from time-to-time and the grilled wings they added to the app menu are great! Also, we had Ricky as a server today... Servers here are ok. I haven't had anyone wait on us here that was memorable though. I will say - Ricky was GREAT! He interacted with the kids, ran his butt off to attend to his tables that were just all over the place, was friendly, smiling the whole time and just perfectly attentive. I will request his section for as long as he works here. Hubby and I eat out often and just haven't had a server that has done this nice of a job. Kudos!

So, the $5.00 burger on Tuesdays is now $6, but still as tasty...they came fewer fries than last time, and as always no substitutions (boo!). Still, one of my favorite burgers under $10.00. Our server this time was very friendly and checked on us 4 or 5 times during our visit, but left too quickly once before we could ask for silverware/napkins, and a second time for a soda refill (my son went to the bar where they were very obliging).

Great for Happy Hour! I recommend this place. The Happy Hour (4-7) food and drink specials are pretty good. There are a number of daily food specials each for only $5, although on Tuesdays they offer any burger and fries for $6. I really liked the buffalo chicken crisps and warm pretzel sticks with either honey mustard or cheese. I wasn't a big fan of the quesadillas though. The drink specials are $3.50 for all draft beer, $5 for a choice of some wines, and $6 for a selection of mixed drinks. The place can be busy, but I was able to find a seat at the bar. The bartender was great. She took my orders quickly and came around to check and see how I was doing.

Very busy location during lunch and dinner hours. Casual attire with plenty of seating both indoor and out. Week day happy hours, burger specials during the week as well. Great diner idea after a long day. Yelpers receive a 50% appetizer coupon for check in. Near had a problem with customer service! Very friendly & helpful staff. Clean bathrooms also.

The tomato bisque was very salty, the vegetable flatbread had too much cheese in it. The service was nice and attentive. I wished they a wider selection of healthy foods. The place is nice, with options of out by the bar in a shades area or inside more in a regular restaurant environment.

Been here a couple of times. The the food has always been great. 4 out 5 as I am pretty sure that my second round of beer gets switched w a domestic draft.

This isn't your usual bar menu. My favorites are the chop-chop salad and their burgers. Their burgers are good and $5 burgers on Tuesday is VERY popular. If you go on a Tuesday, it will be a bit noisy and crowded and you'll likely have to wait for a table. I prefer going on other nights when it isn't quite so busy and my friends and I can talk while we eat and drink. The happy hour from 4-7 has great food and drink specials. They have many appetizers for $5 and some are so big I consider them a meal. I prefer to sit at the bar where its first come first serve.

I've been here roughly three times I believe? Once was to visit and watch my friend perform live at the outdoors patio, the second time was for an art event we held there and last was to bring my family to try the happy hour specials. On my first visit I tried the cheese and chicken quesadilla, a little spicy but very tasty! On my second visit I had a burger with egg, satisfying and filling. The third time had to be the best. I came in with a party of 5 and the kind hostess seated us to a table. We were soon greeted by our patient waitress who took all of our indecisive drink orders. As apart of their happy hour, we all tried to try something different. I went with the sliders, the steak and chicken quesadilla was ordered as well. Also with a flatbread. On side with my order I had a peach sangria(?) very refreshing. The food was good, the service was good! We will be back!

Went there for a lunch date. Had a steak sandwich, it was pretty bad. Good selection of beer. The place has potential, but just not worth it to me.

Whepa! 2nd Wednesday night in a row, this is my official after class spot..... Because psychology makes everyone hungry and in need of a drink! Lol. I guess they have salsa lessons sometime around 9pm and then it's just a happy, dancing free for all for the rest of the night. Weeeee The first time, we tried the fried pickles, shrimp bruschetta, deviled eggs, shrimp bahn mi and shrimp and grits (we like shrimp). Everything was like REALLY, really good. And I had a tequila cocktail called "La Paloma" with bitter orange soda in it, amazeballs. But I kept hearing and reading about this Mac and cheese! So last Wednesday, it was raining so you know.....why drive in the rain if you could go be fat? Had 2 glasses of the red sangria (YES) and the Beer Can half chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and Mac and cheese. DAMN. Killed it. I ate every single bite. Shameless.. I can't imagine anyone that won't find something they'll like on this menu. Get cute and ride out! The regulars are friendly and festive also :-)

Good food. Service was ok . The lady never came back to our table after she dropped off the check. We Had the tacos which were amazing and tasted awesome as leftovers as well.

I liked the food at Prime Bar and the service was good. My complaint is that everything is overpriced. I know there is equally good food and service elsewhere around Wiregrass at cheaper prices. Overall, a good place to eat, but not worth the money. It was good food, nothing spectacular. I will probably only go back if friends are meeting up there, otherwise, not on my own accord.

Great food, great drinks and a great atmosphere. Ask for Liz, she's the best server in Florida! Happy hour prices can't be beat!

Love this restaurant! Every time we're at Shops at Wiregrass we stop in for happy hour. Can't go wrong with $5 apps and $3.50 tap. (flatbread pizza anyone?) Outdoor dining is great and the inside is decor is very nice. Service is always top notch here as well. Walking in your always greeted warmly and the wait staff is excellent even as the restaurant is hopping. We always ask to be seated at Jerrica's section as she is so friendly and she always gives us a big smile and hello. Such a great touch. Highly recommend checking out Prime Bar.

Came to Primebar for the second time and it was AMAZING! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and taken to a booth were Conor was our server. He was probably one of the best servers we've had in a while! He was enthusiastic and made us feel welcomed immediately! His knowlegde of the menu was commendable and you can tell he enjoys what he does. The manager greeted us at the table to make sure everything was ok which to me shows that they care about their customers. The food was amazing as it was before. I had the California Club sandwich with black beans and rice which was just the right amount of food and the chicken was nice and tender. My girlfriend had the BBQ Burger (awesome) and her daughter had the chicken fingers and fries which was enough to feed 2 kids! They also had Sam Adams Summer Ale as their special so I had to grab one. We will definitely come back and even become regulars here! Thanks to GM Joe Murgio, Conor, and the rest of the staff for a great experience!

  • Michele S.

It's a pricy place, and kinda dressy. I didn't like the beer can chicken I got, it was burnt and the asparagus was black, meaning that too was burnt. I also asked for a drink that had cucumbers and they were out of cucumbers! Then they said they'd make me a lemonade, but it tasted like like tea. Finally they got me a pink lemonade. I got a shrimp flatbread, but the shrimp was so raw, and I specifically asked the waitress whether it would be grilled well and she said yes. But there mac & cheese is the bomb!!! I love it, the best I've ever had! I had mine with jalapenos.

Great prices and atmosphere for price. Hell, its Wesley Chapel, what more do you want? Food and service is great for the area. The french dip and burgers are decent. Drinks are decent. On Fri and Sat there is a DJ and its fun. Very casual atmosphere and parking is free and close. It does beat the one 1 hour Rt to S tampa and back plus a possible DUI. So if you live in WC come here but if your downtown or in S tampa then don't bother!!!

I have been to the Prime Bar on several occasions and is either hot or cold. I feel it's poorly managed. There is high turn over on the waiting staff and on some occasions under staffed and that to me is a management issue. Also when engaging the management on issues they had an indifferent attitude which really hurts my attitude about the establishment. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. Love the atmosphere and the convenience being at the mall. If management got their act together it could be the place to go!

  • Mike K.

Always great service! Outside bar is awesome and Allen is by far the best bartender anywhere.

  • Samantha M.

Good atmosphere, and great location for locals. Not at all healthy although they seem to give the vibe that they're healthier and trendy. Food is standard, staff is hit or miss. Over all though we go back for the decent happy hour and b/c it's so close to home.

I came in for lunch as I was waiting for my car to get worked on at the Toyota Dealership (btw, best car service ever! - complimentary shuttle within 10mi radius of dealership so, good excuse to spend my day at the mall!). I think I got in around 11-11:30ish and was afraid of the lunch rush, but surprisingly they weren't slammed with customers. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the manager and hostess, who quickly seated me out on the patio as per request (it was a beautiful day!). Connor introduced himself as my server, who was very attentive and helpful in making my order selections. I started out with the Calamari appetizer (**50% off apps with Yelp check-in, sweet!). I came in during a period that they offered "Lunch Crunch"?..sorry, if I got the name wrong but it's a good deal for a combination of half a sandwich and half a soup or salad along with a drink for $8.99. I thought it was great to get a taste of several items, kind of putting your eggs in several baskets. They offered a pretty good variety of choices for that deal, and I eventually selected the Spicy Chicken Sandwich w/ Chips + Zucchini Curry Soup. They didn't take particularly long to start bringing out food but I was STARVING when my app 1st arrived, so I was surprised when I felt full after just finishing up my appetizer and the soup - neither were great big portions either. And by the time my sandwich arrived, I was still working on my soup and I could only fit in one bite of the sandwich while it was fresh before I called it quits. The Calamari wasn't spectacular, but it was good. I didn't care for the Zucchini Curry Soup, the flavors just didn't mix well to me. The tiny bite of the sandwich I had was probably too small to register any flavor, or my tummy just numbed by tastebuds from being too full bc I didn't recall much of any flavor. HOWEVER, after I had it boxed to-go and 5-hours later of carrying it with me around the mall, I sat down & ate the sandwich for dinner and it was delicious! Oh, and the chips that came with my sandwich were sickeningly salty. I had one tiny bite and I was gulping water like a fish. Maybe just a bad batch, but I'm not a big chip person anyway so I didn't make a big stink about it. The manager did stop by to ask me about how my food was, and she was very gracious about me mentioning the salty chips. Nothing is more off-putting than a defensive manager to constructive criticism. Also, idk what happened to my server but he just disappeared halfway through my meal. Another guy started bringing me my food acting as server, but it didn't bother me bc he was very friendly and attentive. He never introduced himself, so I didn't get his name, but he has long hair. I asked the hostess as I was leaving, and she said that he was the bartender..I think she said his name was Nick (that's what was on receipt)? I wasn't going to say anything at the time, but he also caught the discount mistake that the manager applied to my receipt - only gave me $2 off my 10.99 app. I thought it was weird bc it actually said "Yelp" discount on the receipt. I would imagine the manager should know what deals they have going on? Anyway, dude was looking out for me, my man! Haha, I was gonna tip well regardless, but bc of that I tipped a little extra. Excellent service! :)

I have been 3 times and haven't been disappointed yet. Not the place to go for a quite romantic dinner but perfect atmosphere for a drink. I've had the primebar burger and the calamari. My favorite has to be their fries though!! Just perfectly cooked French fries.

Was back in town and came in with a friend on Cinco de Mayo and liked the place more than I'd expected (I've been "out of town" for a while!). The place wasn't that packed around 9:30ish, which was nice as service was quick and it wasn't so loud that you had to yell to hear the person next to you. Solid margaritas and chicken quesadilla, nice bartenders.

Great drinks, food could be better, but the environment is pretty good. Love the location in the mall. Would recommend getting their burgers and mediterranean pizza. Those were the two best on the menu. Pricing isn't too bad for drinks but the food can get pricey.

Went to Prime Bar for girls lunch today. It was great to sit outside on a beautiful day. The atmosphere was nice and service very prompt. The wine was a large pour- no complaints. The food was just OK. Not great. I would go again for drinks and to sit outside, but not for dinner. I had chicken club, my friends had Ahi. They weren't raving either, and for $22 Ahi you expect more.

My go to place in the Wiregrass area. The food is better than you would think and the atmosphere is always lively. Plus many TVs and a wide array of beer choices.

The food is great, try one of the flat breads. Love sitting out side in the patio, good beer selection and fast quality service. Check it out if you have a chance, happy hour is the time to go ;)

Way over priced for just ok food. Ticket times are way too long! The first time we went the food took about 45 minutes. We were having drinks & it was packed so no big deal. I wish I could say that it was worth the wait. It was just ok. The waiter recommended a beer that tasted medicinal I took one sip & couldn't drink any more. When he asked my opinion I was honest & his response was 'sorry'. Our check with tip was like 80 bucks! The second time we went it was slow and the food still took about 30 to 35 minutes. My wife's food was good but I ordered the smoked wings and they were horrible. The smoke tasted fake like they added liquid smoke to the wing sauce or something. After eating one and a half wings and I noticed that they won't even cooked all the way through. When the server asked I told them that the smoke tasted fake and the wings want cooked through. Her response was again 'sorry'. No comp, no discount, no nothing! At this point I was too hungry, two aggravated, and too tired to take it up with the manager. Needless to say we will not be returning. Also, I only gave them a two rating because they have a good selection of craft beer. Although what's the point of just drinking beer there when there is a Brass Tap right across from it? It's unfortunate because this place could be awesome.

I ate here a few weeks ago and the service was mediocre but the food was tasty. The beer selection on tap is fantastic though.

Primebar is sort of like the first date of restaurant experiences (this has nothing to do with the fact that so many people I know who are on the prowl, wind up meeting first dates there). The reason I say this is that Primebar offers you pub food with a creative twist to it and a price tag to boot. It's the kind of place you go once, have an okay time, and then realize there is so much bang for your buck elsewhere (this sums up first dates to a T). What do I like about Primebar? The pretzel sticks during happy hour (4-7 Monday thru Friday). Five dollars for four pretzel sticks and a ton of mustard is not a bad gig. I like the aforementioned inspired takes on traditional dishes. Primebar offers some unique twists on your standard fare and this is a plus. It shows that someone is getting creative and trying things out in the kitchen. As far as I'm concerned, you can't go wrong with that. I also enjoy that Primebar has a few vegetarian/vegan options and a gluten free menu as well. Primebar is a great place to meet when you have large parties or gatherings. What don't I like about Primebar? The pretzel sticks during full price time. Eight dollars for four pretzel sticks seems a bit pricey. Most of their menu during non happy hours seems a dollar or two overprice. This causes your bill to add up quick. While there are some options for vegetarian/vegan, you can get a lot more variety (and better value) by hitting up some of the other places in the area.

So we decided to try something new for date night and ended up at Primebar! Overall, we loved it! The food was delicious and so full of flavor! The decor was so nice (yes this is something I check out at a restaurant). And the prices were pretty reasonable ($35 for the two of us including apps). Our only complaint was the service. Our waiter completely forgot about us! He took our order (realizing we weren't ordering alcohol) and then only came back to check on us ONCE when we were halfway through our entrées (which other waitresses brought to us). He didn't even refill our drinks until 30-45 minutes of us sitting at the table drink-less! I guess because we weren't bringing in the real money (by ordering alcoholic beverages), he didn't bother wasting his time paying attention to us. We'll definitely be returning to Primebar but I'll be requesting another waiter if we end up with that guy again!

Prime Bar seems to be going down hill. When first open it was bad, really small portions for the money. Then it got really good, great food, nice portions and good menu. Well the last few time there it seems like back to first bad days. Friends agree and don't go there anymore.

Great place and terrific beer selection. wait staff is quite attractive and friendly. Had shrimp and grits with calamari appetizer. Both were delicious. Only drawback is parking. Place was packed on a Wednesday in early November- hardly prime time.

Great food! I had the mini wedge salad with salmon and it was great. Our waitress was polite and very attentive. I was in the area on a business trip but would definitely come back if ever here again.

  • Geoff P.

Great happy hour spot. Vast drink selections and pretty good food. Yelp check in offer usually helps on the price too. Check the daily special and lunch specials with a drink for only $8. I got to try a half price app and enjoyed the pulled pork sliders.

This is a great place for burgers and a drink, so I went for my sons birthday. The service, burgers, sandwiches were good at our party of 12 table, as I expected. Careful with Spinach Queso dip, its very spicy, my mouth was on fire. I will NOT go there if I want an actual entree or a salad. Price did not match what I had on my plate. My Chop Chop salad was overpriced, for what I received. A mound of lettuce with barely a sprinkle of the other toppings, promised and described on the menu. Bacon, blue cheese, chick peas, etc, where were they? Really, it was the size of candy sprinkles you'd see on a desert. Maybe they were low on these supplies, it was a busy Saturday night. If my server would tell me this," fyi, that's been a popular salad all night, they are getting low on that one" I would have ordered another, anything else. Needless to say, I was disappointed and I didn't take a pic, only due to being busy with talking with family at the table. To summarize, for a salad, I'll be going to a ton of other places that I know I'll get exactly what I'm ordering. For burgers and a beer, ON A TUESDAY, I'll probably be back. $6.00 burgers, that will work.

4 months ago I commented on how great the service was, how a bit pricey the food was, but how good it tastes.... Well, things are on a slight down slide with service... Food is still good, but prices still too pricy during the day..Seriously, this isn't a 5 star restaurant! Also, some of the guys there that tend bar are GREAT during lunch hours!!!! But there are a few of the ladies that could use some basic "attentiveness" classes.. Sometimes I feel like they don't want my money based on how long it takes to greet me. They are easy on the eyes, but not on the service....

Went on a Sunday afternoon & the place was empty. Atmosphere is nice. Nice outside seating. Food was ok. I had the chicken club which was very bland, nothing like the description in menu. Husband had a burger and Mac and cheese. He loved the Mac & cheese. Service was not good at all. Thinking maybe she was new. We had a 1.5 year old and try to get in & out. Waited forever to place our order and even longer to get the check. So long I had to take the baby to the car because he was getting cranky. Def wouldn't go back for dinner but maybe for drinks & apps.

I'm not real big on writing negative reviews. I prefer to point the positives, however, I feel compelled to share my opinion on this one. I've been to Prime Bar about 3 times. Each time thinking the next time is going to get better, sadly that isn't the case. The service is really poor and should be evaluated.

This place is AWFUL!!! The first time we went there, we had an expensive meal and a couple rounds of drinks. My husband ordered a draft beer that the waiter recommended...it was terrible. When the waiter asked about how it was, my husband told him. No offer to get a different beer or to take it off the tab. Just a sad 'sorry' response. We decided to give it a second try. My husband got the chicken wings that tasted terrible and were not cooked completely. He barely ate any of them and the waitress asked why. Again, we explained the issues and again were only given a 'sorry about that'. There's absolutely no service at this place and food that is barely edible. I will not be returning....I would rather be hungry and thirsty!

  • Kirby C.

In a nutshell: Very slow service but nice people, uncomfortable outside chairs but great beer selection. I first sat inside, where it smelled faintly of wet dog, so I decided to sit outside. 15 minutes after I sat down, I finally got the beer I ordered, even though I was an arm's length from a bar. I ordered an appetizer which tasted great, but even though I showed the waitress my coupon for 50% off the app, she didn't bother to have the manager come by to verify it. When my friend showed up, it only got worse. It took so long to get my friend's drink, we didn't have time to get lunch. So when we were in a hurry to go (since everything took so long) she didn't take the coupon off my bill. I think I'll be finding a new place in the future.

Cool bar and environment. The food is legit but the portions really ain't much for the price. Drink prices are decent, good place to go for a nice date but for just chilling out I wouldn't recommend primebar.

Good selection of brews, libations, standard pub fare, craft burgers, plenty of TVs to watch whatever game is on, and a friendly staff... what more do you want from a sports pub?

Nice servers, the food is your basic bar food, burgers, hand helds etc. I like their rice and beans side dish. Burgers are pretty good, .Lack deserts. Drinks are good prefer the cucumber martini.

Although Prime Bar is still a personal favorite, we were disappointed tonight. Tuesday is Burger Day.... All burgers are $5, until tonight. Now they are $6. Still worth it if they are the way you order them. Not the case tonight..... We love a rare burger and can settle for pink. Well done is what we got. We also had a vegetarian in our party. No problem, there is a veggie burger on the menu under burgers. Sorry, that "burger" is not on special. But for just $14 you can still order it. What??? Why is it with the burgers but not included in the special. Oh well, a lot of choices out there. We will be back, but not as often.

My husband, my two children and myself went to PrimeBar for dinner last night and as I always say, it never disappoints. For starters, our waitress Andrea was very helpful and honest. We loved her. We ordered the pretzels for the children and the kid's macaroni and cheese. I need to commend PrimeBar for this delicious Honey Mustard. I've never had honey mustard this good before as a matter of fact, I don't even like honey mustard. This one has like a hint of horseradish in it. It's so good. I tried my daughter's Macaroni and cheese and it was hands down the best mc n cheese I have ever had. We were told it's a smaller portion of the adult Mac n cheese. It has four different cheeses in it. Let me tell you, I would never order Macaroni and cheese in a bar, but I think next time I may have to. The fried egg burger was delicious. We also got the fried pickle chips. You can tell they weren't from a bag. They were hot, crisp and had a really good seasoning. All the food was really hot and fresh. We have been coming to the place since opening and I can't even believe some of these reviews. The beer complaints are from people who are really clueless about good beer. PrimeBar will give you a tiny sample before you order one IF you ask. If you don't like the beer you ordered, blame the brewery it came from and not the bar. Odds are it's a good beer, you just don't know any better! This place is usually hopping. Every table was filled yesterday with all sorts of people really having a good time and enjoying everything. Thank you again Prime Bar for another great dining experience!

Can't believe that yesterday was the first time I was at Prime Bar. It was a perfect day. Tuesdays are $5 hamburger deals, and Monday through Friday from 4-7 is HAPPY HOUR!!! We fried outside. We had our dog with us, and of course that makes us happy even though we are steaming away, but that is okay. We were inside the office all day. We were greeted by great people at the front, and then had awesome service from our waiter. He was funny. I first ordered a berry mojito. I didn't care for it though. They tried to make it more drinkable for me because I thought it was too strong but it just made it more medicine like. But they cared enough to make it better for me. We each had an appetizer of steak quesadillas and then ordered 3 different burgers bc there were three of us. There was the turkey burger with mango salsa, my burger which had arugula and goat cheese(Prime bar burger), and my husband had the special mushroom and swiss burger. Two patties of burger and fries. It was huge for $5 each. The appetizer was $5 also. we were happy campers. We just could not believe we had not been before. We will surely be back for the food, service, and awesome ambiance. Don't forget to check in, you get half off of appetizer, so our already good priced quesadilla went from $5, to $2.50. Every penny counts right, lol.

SO EXPENSIVE! Seriously, $10 for a small mixed drink? We had a happy hour ($5) appetizer (calamari - it was okay), two drinks (berry sangria - watered down and too chunky to drink - yuck, and some cucumber pepper concoction that was not consumable) on happy hour special ($6 each), 4 margaritas, a nasty, a berry & cream concoction, and a round of rumchatta shots at $8 each, and our bill was $100!!! Drove down the road to Applebee's and got two for one top shelf margaritas, shots, 2 appetizers, and spent less than $20. We only ended up here because Brass Tap was full, but this is honestly a one drink type of place and then move on elsewhere. It's Wesley Chapel, not some swanky upscale bar in the middle of the Ritz! Ambiance is alright (except for the leaking roof, which we watched drip onto the end of someone's table - they were too drunk to notice). Service was okay, although we felt like we were pushed out of there, but she did get us the happy hour specials even though it was a few minutes after 7. Can you imagine what my bill would have been if I'd paid full price for those?! Whoah. Usually this place is too loud to talk, but we had ourselves a great time considering it was a week night, but the snooty girls at the bar gave us dirty looks for laughing. Luckily we ran into them at Applebee's and they were getting hit on by a dirty old man, and our laughing continued. Hehe.

Prime Bar is excellent, a combination of good food, great service, and a nice, hopping place that makes for a perfect dinner spot. I ordered the Fried Egg Burger, a perfect burger with egg and bacon on it. It's like breakfast, but at dinner time! We also ordered some great appetizers, such as their buffalo chicken things, and the bruschetta. They also have an extensive beer list, available to peruse before the waitress even comes to the table. Service was attentive and excellent, making sure our meals were satisfactory. Overall, Prime Bar is a great place to get a meal in Wiregrass.

Husband and I went to Prime Bar for lunch today to try out the Tuesday $5.00 burgers! I ordered the Goat Cheese burger and he ordered the RIBS, yes, I did say RIBS, and they were meaty, tender, and seasoned perfectly. Also tried the side order of Mac & Cheese which was amazing. All I can say is awesome food and service! Our server Alison was fantastic. She was knowledgeable on the burgers offered. She was friendly, fast, and attentive. Manager stopped by and chatted for a few minutes as well. Great visit! We will be back again.

Prime bar is a fun place to go with some friends but expect to dish out cash. Prices on the menu are a bit expensive. Overall the food quality is good minus the pizza, don't bother ordering it. If you're just looking for a bar with awesome beers try brass tap.

Food is great! And a local selection of beer. Their steak and burgers are unique. A bit pricey but great place to visit every once in a while.

Never ordering takeout from this place ever again and not because of the food, the food was great. Only because their to go service or customer service for that matter is TERRIBLE. It's around 10:30 pm, everything else is closed so I decided to order take out from Prime Bar, I place the order (prime burger/fries & buffalo tenders) which went smoothly and the hostess tells me that it'll be about 15 minutes. I arrive to Prime Bar and the place is packed (of coarse it's packed it's Friday night) and as soon as I walk in the hostess' (about three girls upfront) just stare at me. I then ask how I go about picking up my order and they point me towards the bar. I walk over to the bar and I kid you not I literally had to ask half of the wait staff about my order and how I could get it. Every time I talked to a waitress/waiter they'd say ok then walk away from me. I even talked to who I think was head of staff (she wore a pink dress while the rest were in black) about my order and she also said ok then forgot about me. And it's not like she was stumped with orders. After she walked away from me she went on to chat with a co worker who I figured was on break and also watched me wait and get ignored continuously. Finally after being fed up of waiting, I got the attention of another waitress (black woman, slender) who actually bothered to help me and told the bartender to get my food. God I wish I would have asked for her name and the male bartender's because they were the only decent people in the place. Turns out my food was sitting behind the bar counter the entire time. Other than that the food was great, if the food wasn't so good I would NEVER come back. If you watch the show "Vanderpump Rules" on Bravo, Prime Bar's staff is highly comparable to that cast, a bunch of twenty/thirty something's who think work is their play ground.

If you are looking for a great place to dine out for lunch or dinner at the mall, this is the place! They have an awesome menu, and a huge selection of beers, wine, and liquor. Make sure to check with the hostess because there is usually a great special going on (half off appetizers, 5$ burgers, beer of the month). They have a great indoor and outdoor bar. The dining area is very nice and the seating is comfortable. Every table has a television in view if you want to catch a game. Dogs are also welcome in the patio area, the bartenders usually have bowls for water on hand. The 5$ burger and fries on Tuesday is hands down the best deal in town. If you want the best value for your dollar this is it. The Manager Joe is an awesome guy who is dedicated to providing a great experience for every customer. I can't recommend this place enough, give them a try!

I'm updating my rating to a 5 star because anytime a business has a person that takes the time to read reviews to make the next trip even more pleasing deserves a 5! Thanks Joe M for making my effort seem worthwhile!

I'm a fan, but only because of the selection at the bar. They're a local favorite as I would consider them the best in the Wesley Chapel area for their mix of a large beer selection and pretty good food. When it comes to Wiregrass Mall other restaurants have better food and others have better beer selection but they're the best combination of both. I would recommend the burgers on the menu and the Prime Rib is awesome, as for beer they keep the draft options rotating through so there are good new choices all the time! The outside bar is a great area to hang out and relax especially with our great weather in Florida. Overall, good prices and above average food and beer so give it a chance if you're stuck shopping at Wiregrass and need a couple minutes to relax!

Food is pretty good. Service is terrible. I have been here twice in the last few months and the first time I realized on the drive home that we were overcharged by about 30 bucks. The second time we went we checked the bill and they tried to charge us 60 bucks for a bottle of wine that was 30 bucks. At least we got it fixed this time. My friend had a horrible time trying to order the wine. She asked for a glass of Riesling. The guy brings her a red glass of wine. We were all like 'Riesling is white'. He says 'you want me to take it back?'. Um, yes, please. She decided to order a bottle of white wine instead of a glass. He brings the wrong white. We don't notice until the bottle is almost gone and my boyfriend pulls it out of the chiller. I'm done with this place. There are lots of better places to eat and get good drinks where the food and service are good and the bill isn't wrong (in their favor) every time.

Apparently soon after opening, they stopped caring. Service is HORRIBLE unless you're drinking at the bar. Every other time I've gone, the waitress forgets at least 2 items. They also took a lot of the more affordable things off the menu and replaced them with $34 ribeyes. YIKES. You're better off going to Applebees.

Great atmosphere even for a light linner (lunch/dinner) for my family & friends. Little did we know they serve BIG portions-nothing we can't handle. The pomegranate margaritas were gone in 10min. We ordered the calamari which was spicy-the way we like it, bbq chicken flatbread & tomato herb flatbread-very good, pork tacos-which were delicious, & shrimp skewers which were awesome. Prices are a bit higher even for appetizers but overall the service was great, and the food was perfect.

We met up with some friends at Prime on Monday evening to have an early dinner and watch the light show at Wiregrass with the kids. We had a larger group of 6 adults and 4 kids that they were able to accommodate us with no problem. We arrived at 6:30pm, and our server Anthony reminded us that we had 30min to get 1/2 priced appetizers and drink specials. I was a little surprised to see one of the reviews state that they did not have a lot of beers on tap...I saw at least 30 beers including one of my fans, Hopsecutioner from Terrapin Brew Co in Athens, GA. At $3 a pint, a heck of a deal. We ordered 3 apps (deviled eggs, homemade potato chips and hummus) as well as the drinks which were all served promptly. My wife is gluten-free, so we asked for vegetables instead of the pita. When the hummus arrived, there was a wonderful assortment of carrots, cucumbers and celery beautifully presented on the plate, which by the way goes very nicely with the hummus. The kids meals came out first, which I always appreciate when the kids are hungry and getting antsy. I had the street tacos (pork) and my wife had the seared tuna fish tacos both of which were tasty. My buddy had the "egg burger" and said it tasted as good as it looked. Warning, it is a belly bomb and akin to eating straight cholesterol, but hell, you have to live a little once in a while! 5 minutes before 7 pm, Anthony came by to get another round of drinks before Happy Hour ended. All in all, good food, better than good service and happy hour pricing made this a great place to go. If you get there after 7pm however, you wallet will take a substantially larger hit!

I went to eat at Primebar for lunch. The service was "horrible",they need to train their waitress! One of apitizer called yellowfin tuna sashimi price was a bit higher(only came with 4 pieces of sashimi and it's not really fresh!). One of my food has a piece of hair in it. I wouldn't go back there again.

The menu isn't the biggest I've ever seen, but what they do have is eclectic and very good. A little pricey, though. I loved the Vegetarian Hummus Wrap and fries, both unique and tasty. I'm not a big drinker, but I really enjoyed their pear cider, as well. Great atmosphere.

Visited PrimeBar for the first time today for lunch on a Saturday. The food was good but not great. I had an acai cosmo, the husband some beer. My drink was ok, but I have had better. We used the 50% off coupon for the appetizer and had the pepperjack queso dip which was ok, however it did not taste really fresh. We both also got burgers which were huge, double patties and I did like the seasoned fries. It is a good location at Wiregrass, but for burgers and drinks it felt a little pricey with a tab and tip getting close to $80. Also, being that it was not really crowded at the time, it felt like we waited for our drinks a little too long. At one point, one of the waiters, possibly the manager grabbed my husband's empty beer glass and walked away before he could order another. We then had to wait to flag down our waiter. I did like the cozy booths on the side. We will probably go back again at some point but not anytime soon.

When I lived in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area, Prime Bar was a frequent destination. With that said, let's get to the important part: Tuesday is $5 burger night! Without fail, I looked forward to Tuesday. I always got the BBQ burger that has not one but TWO patties on it. I would divide the thing up & take the second portion home for lunch the following day. 5 bucks for two amazing meals? Yes, please. The fries come with a nice, unique seasoning that have a hint of citrus? Delish. Service could be spotty, but I couldn't care less sometimes. I wish Prime Bar were closer to me now, it would still be in my rotation.

I'm surpised at some of these post. I have a love-hate thing for Prime Bar. Love: the Tuesday night $5 burger and the mac & cheese, good beer selection, lots of TV's ,seating outside or in. and close by the house. STOP Hate: Dinner other than Tuesday is too expensive for what you get. lunch for two included, pork tacos, with black beans & rice with 2 beers each including tip $60.00 ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME ? uhhh that feeling you get when you've been ripped off.... Note to self NEVER eat lunch there again. Meet a friend for happy hour or late night drinks. Maybe Tuesday night burgers other than that is very overrated.

Love the atmosphere...and the $5.00 apps was a great treat..hubs and I shared red pepper hummus and deviled eggs.....DELISH....highly recommended...dinner however was a disappoinment..the half chicken was dry and the mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a box..all in all..would try agsin. The apps alone were meal worthy.

Went here for lunch with my brother, and we both liked this place. It seemed family friendly during the day. A while ago, one Friday night, I had passed on the opportunity to eat here, since it was loud with a lot of people out for a good time! The loaded kettle chips were good, but I'm not that huge a fan of kettle chips, so they didn't do all that much for me. Bro and I split a huge burger with an egg in it. It was really good, but needed some seasoning to make it perfect. They have awesome drinks, and I loved the cucumber with elderflower liquer drink. Very refreshing. They have lots of happy hour deals, and I'll be back to try some more!

Come here atleast 2-3 times a week with my fiance for happy hour. The half off appetizer menu is amazing; with the exception of the deviled eggs we have eaten everything atleast twice and the taste, quality, and consistency has kept us coming back. Great atmosphere, wonderful and polite service, delicious food, and their guiness is great. Will continue to frequent this gem as well as spread the word about our positive experiences. I can not speak on any of the regular menu items, but in the near future we do plan on sitting down for a real meal at which time i will edit the post.

This was my first visit to Primebar, but I wish I had checked it out sooner! I came here with my brother to meet up with some friends at around 8 PM, and the place was packed! We soon found out that the reason why was because of the Tuesday $5 burgers, which included the house specialty, the chef's creation for the evening. Since we had all eaten dinner already before getting there, we passed on the burgers, but I definitely want to come back and take advantage of that deal! Instead, we all ordered a side of Mac & Cheese with the addition of jalapeños and bacon. The mac & cheese was so creamy and delicious! The shells were soft and soaked in creamy cheddar cheese, and the bacon and jalapeños gave the dish more substance, body, and spice. The additions are definitely a must! I also enjoyed how the mac & cheese was topped with some panko crumbs, which game a little more texture to the dish. The side size was perfect for someone who isn't too hungry, but still has a little room to eat. My brother and friends also ordered a bottle of red wine which they were pretty happy with. It came chilled in a bucket of ice, and the waiter let them try it so that they could decide whether they liked it and wanted to commit to that bottle. It's nice to be given the choice! We stayed at there until close, and throughout that time our waiter constantly was checking on us and making sure were doing alright. Since the place was busy when we got there, and I'm assuming during peak meal hours, be prepared for the noise level. It was hard to hear each other sometimes because of the many people crowded together, but it's manageable. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to come back (especially to use that 50% off one appetizer reward that came from checking in)!

I had the opportunity to eat at Prime Bar at Wiregrass for National Mom's Night Out on May 9th. I had just finished my Whole30 challenge and decided that I had wanted to keep following the Whole30 way of eating and Prime Bar was quick to accommodate me! I made my own meal by picking and choosing items from several meals scattered throughout their menu! The server was gracious and didn't bat an eye when I explained that I was going to need some special help with my meal. They also had a gluten free beer that I let myself indulge with. Great place, and if I need to go out to eat down that way again, I'll be sure to go back to Prime Bar.

Food was O.K. At Best. Honestly this restaurant needs a complete staff overhaul. 3/4 of the staff is barely old enough to drink let alone get the orders right. The fries were salty af and I usually like salty foods. Go figure. Honestly just go to any square one burgers, Applebee's or steak and shake because it will leave a better taste in your mouth than the experience here. Oh and money because it's overpriced and overrated.

Prime Bar has and continues to be an establishment that has no standard. It does not have any consistency in regard to service, or policy. Most recently, upon arriving, we told the hostess our party would be larger than anticipated, which was noted as not a problem. Upon being seated we found that as our party grew, Prime Bar, despite having many empty tables did not wish to accommodate us by allowing us to have a table added to ours, so we had people standing. I would understand but there were vacant tables all around. Finally they let us add a table, but only did so because the table was empty for 20 minutes. After speaking to the manger, they said that they thought they might get busy and they were holding the tables. If people are standing around a table, and a waitress is taking orders, and the staff knew that the party seated was expanding, why wouldn't you accommodate customers when they are there? Frankly, this place needs better management, policies, and needs to learn to produce a consistent product. Their food is awful and you never get a dish prepared the same way twice. Don't waste your time.

We were invited back for a second visit after the initial review. I will say that our server, Charleen was wonderful for both of our visits and the restaurant is inviting. The dinner was ok. My potatoes were not even cooked, hard and seared in a pan for color. The salmon was cooked well and I did enjoy it. Overall, the quality of the food is sub-standard and overpriced for what you get. I maintain that this is a great place to go for drinks and apps but not impressed with dinner. The "spa day" cocktail was delicious and highly recommended!

Great place. My company had entertained some customers there on Tuesday the 10th. We were greated quickly and sat just as fast. The food is excellent. I had the pulled chicken tacos. My sister and I chose Prime Bar as a place to celebrate her birthday. I traveled from Philly to surprise her and take her out to great night out since she is new to the area, has 2 kids and works full time and she never gets to enjoy many adult nice nights out. We arrived and got a nice booth that faced the bar area, the waitress seemed friendly and personable. I ordered a cocktail, got carded, then denied a drink since I left my ID in the purse I traveled w/ not the one I brought out. I understand rules, but I'll be 35 in September and as much as I would like to think I still look 21 or younger, I do not. I work at 3 restaurants/bars up North and I understand the rules but if a customer is clearly of age and the person they are w/ are of age I see no problem serving them. We started w/ the shrimp bruschetta and it was good and came out in a timely manner. Then we ordered entrees that turned out awful. My shrimp tacos were horrible. The shrimp broke through the bottom of the soft taco, the taco tasted like crap and I wound up eating just the shrimp and some black beans. My sister ordered the ahi tuna tacos which she ate 2 of and left 3 because they tasted too fishy which ahi tuna should not. No one came over to check on us, no one asked how the food was, and finally our server came over to take our dirty, used appetizer plates away almost by the time our entrees were finished (what we ate of them.) When the server noticed we were done, she never asked if anything was wrong, which is the first thing I do if I notice a good amount of food was left on the plate. Customer service needs to be addressed there. From the server recommending some cool specialties to try for new customers, to clearing dirty plates between courses, to refilling waters, to replacing dirty silverware, to checking up on the ordered food. I'd give Prime Bar another chance, with my ID in hand, and sit at the bar and just try appetizers and the cool Cucumber Calienté I really wanted to try.

Went there tonight with my boyfriend. First walk in the door was very impress by the decorations. We order two glasses of wine, smoked chicken wing, and calamari. Wine was OK. But the chicken wings and the calamari BAD!!! The wing just taste like the frozen One from publix. And the calamari has no taste. I would like to go back to hang out with my friends sometimes. But I really wish that they can hire some real chef to recreate a better menu.

I had been here twice before and had a good experience, so while shopping decided to stop in again. Now I'll never go back. It was 2:30pm and we were the only table in the entire restaurant. Our service was fine until the meals were dropped off, then our server never came back to the table. We ate the meal, and waited 20 minutes after finishing before we finally stopped a manager so we could pay our tab and leave. Worst service by far of anywhere I've been.

Excellent burger and it was Tuesday which meant $5. The happy hour apps looked pretty good also, but I don't think you can beat the burger deal. I could see how this might get expensive on the weekends, but I'm sure it would be a great place to watch a game. It would be worth a return visit.

Finally got into Prime Bar to give them another chance. The main thing I like about them is the management has been trying to make positive changes based on customer feed back. The menu appears to accurately reflect what you get. This time around we tried the calamari which was cooked nicely, tender flesh and light crispy batter. I wasn't big on the sauces that went with it but a squeeze of lemon is all it really needed. I ordered the Fried Egg Burger which has smokey bacon, runny egg and Gouda. The burger was good, it was a two patty deal which can make it a little hard to sink your teeth into. My wife had the Primebar Burger and Beet Salad, she enjoyed both. The beer selection is good, not as creative as the place across the road from them but hey Prime Bar serves food. The service on this trip was excellent. Good job on the improvements! I may have to stop in for the happy hour specials sometime soon.

I gave the prime bar another chance cause the owner had written me a nice letter and was sincere. One thing about these reviews is that the person who owns the place is not responsible for the actions of the crowd. I have no problem changing a review upon a new experiences. the prime bar is fun and beautiful. the food is great and the beer cold. Sometimes you might just have a not so great time and go back and have a different time all together, thats what happened here. go to the prime bar, have a drink and bring some friends and i'll see ya there.

Very nice environment, but brutally slow bar service at main inside bar on weekends 12am and later. Multiple staff, but slow moving, no hustle, and apparently more interested in getting the bar ready for close out so they can get out of there (long before last call). Probably really puts a dent in potential drink revenue and tips. Need to get someone behind the bar that likes to move and sets the pace. Lots of potential.

Made our first visit to Prime Bar today for a late lunch. It is a very nice place, nicely appointed. We were pleasantly greeted and seated quickly. The service was very good, informative, and attentive. The beer selection is large, and I sampled the Blanche Bruxelles. And that's what I ordered. Our party of three ordered the prime rib sliders, the BBQ burger, and the fried egg burger. We would recommend all of them.

One of my favorite places to eat in Wiregrass. We like to go on Tuesdays for the $5 burger night. Each week they feature a special burger like the Mediterranean burger, the Bruschetta Burger, the Southwest Burger, or the Sriracha Burger. They also have happy hour deals before 6. Also try the Gouda Mac 'N Cheese. If you have a large party or are on a time crunch, I'd recommend calling ahead for a reservation--it is a very popular place and can get crowded.

Food and service have really gone downhill since this place opened, while prices seemed to have gone up. It's an OK joint, but it is loud, busy, and the food is expensive. Last time got the pretzels with cheese sauce and steak quesadillas. Both were marginal at best.

This restaurant is a great spot. It has the sports bar feel with a little more elegance. I didn't feel out of place dressed a little nicer but could have gone casual if I wanted. The service was excellent from beginning to end. All of our food was delicious except my ribs - too dry for my taste.

This place is a great happy hour hang out with great drink options, but the food menu is just ok. We ordered a burger that had gruyere cheese on it and it was pretty tasty and the pepper jack spinach dip was decent too. The pork sliders were entirely too fatty and the house made chips were not great either. As far as drinks go, the berry mojito was really good (although sweet) and the strawberry lemonade was incredible even though non-alcoholic. Overall, stop in during happy hour and you will get the most for your dollar.

I first went to Primebar back in September, and I have to admit that I was not impressed. While the large, open bar area was nice and unique to the area, the food was mediocre, at best, and it seemed as though it was sitting around for a while. I left feeling disappointed, and because of this experience it was about five months until I went back to Primebar, despite its convenient location to where I live and work. My second experience at Primebar was noticeably improved. If there was a conscious effort to improve the food and quality in the gap between my visits, I applaud the management and staff. This time around I went for a late dinner with some colleagues who were in town for the week. For ordering dinner around 10 p.m., I was surprised that everything my group ordered was hot and fresh. I was thrilled at the hot, tasty french fries that came with my meal (I am a french fry connoisseur!), and my salad was crisp as well. A tell-tale sign that food has been sitting around is limp fries, and I am happy to say that this was not the case this time. One thing that I would like to note, however, is that for this instance I happened to be at Primebar for ladies' night, and the advertisement said free bubbles for ladies until a certain time, and I was never offered anything or told about this. Slightly disconcerting. I have since been back one other time, on a Saturday night, for another late meal (it is convenient that they keep the kitchen open past the traditional dinner hours), and the food was just as fresh. The music was very loud and the place was full, but it was a Saturday night so that is a good sign. I am happy that Primebar brings some element of nightlife to this area because it is surely lacking. My takeaways from Primebar: they are much improved since last year, the menu has something for everyone, and if you're looking for a night scene in New Tampa, this is a convenient place to go. I will be back!

I came here on a slower Monday night for happy hour. It didn't get crowded until around 6 o'clock but there were still places to sit. Their happy hour menu is awesome. I really liked their buffalo chicken crisps and the sliders they had to offer. I think this is a really good place to go if you want a beer AND food. Their beer selection is pretty awesome. I did try to go here on a Saturday night and it was SUPER crowded. So beware of that. More people come to Wiregrass at night. :)

Came to Prime bar with my babe on a Friday for happy hour. Our server - Charlene, was awesome and suggested a few signature cocktails. I started with the house gooey cake and it was amazing!. I was surprised how attentive our server was despite how packed they were. We decided to get dinner and our server suggested the horseradish salmon, and i was surprised how great the salmon was considering I was in a bar. Ill def return. Great service, great time!

I first stopped by Prime Bar after a Saturday morining spent around the fresh market at Wiregrass. It was hot out, I was tired, and all I wanted was a place with good food and cold beer. Prime Bar did not disappoint. When I go to restaurants and order a burger, I find way too often the burger is mediocre at best. Not at Prime Bar. The burger I had was delicious. My fiend also had a burger and was even happier with her burger than I was. The beer selection was great. It is really impressive to go to a place that focuses on food and find a beer list with depth and flavor. I could eat here all the time.

Flirts visit. Loved seeing "exclusively" beer for Primebar from Milwaukee WI. I'm from Wisconsin so I had to try it. it was a good beer. Ordered a burger and fries. Fell in love with the fries. It looks like an upscale restaurant. We dress casual. So fit right in. Everyone was friendly. Only reason not giving 5 stars was due to men's restroom smelled of urine.

Another bar located at Wiregrass Ranch shoppes. Nothing special about this place. Went there for a late lunch and there was hardly anyone there though I'm sure they get most of their crowd late night. Had a beer though they didn't have a lot on tap though happy to see they had Sam Adams Seasonal. Ordered a burger and fries and it was good but again, nothing special. There really didn't seem anything special in regards to food. Looked like a comfortable bar with enough tvs if you wanted to enjoy the game.

Came here on a Friday evening with a couple of local friends after reading the mostly positive reviews from my fellow Yelpers. Britney took really good care of us, being friendly and attentive; she even made some great brew suggestions. Nice call on the Belgian wheat beer. The chow came out quickly and was tasty. I had the fried egg burger; the others had the Mac n' Cheese, the BBQ burger and the sliders. Everyone was happy with their meal and drink choices. The burgers were $12, so was the Mac n' Cheese. The happy hour beers were only $3. Fairly reasonable pricing for what you receive. The place was full and hopping--happy people unwinding and kicking off the weekend. A nice vibe to be sure. NOTE: Free valet parking with validation if you dine here (or any of 3 other Wiregrass restaurants).

Great place to hang out. Only thing missing is good desserts, which is pretty disappointing given its a great place otherwise.

My coworkers and I go to Prime multiple times a week. The beer selection is great, the happy hour is phenomenal, and the bartenders pour a hell of a drink. Pro tip: sit at the bar and ask for Illona or Chris!

Joe, Thank you for the response and not just deleting my comments again. At this point Joe, It seems there are many other issues you have at your restaurant beside my issues. You clearly have mistaken me for someone else that has had serious issues with your establishment. If I were you, I would try to not air your dirty laundry and debate your argument , or call customer names "nuts" over the wide open internet for all to see. I am not involved with the 30 person party, I was having my own birthday party that we didn't have at your place because your hostess didn't even want to accommodate our party. He basically, let us walk out the door, yet again. Since my posts and reviews that I have posted. There are many people siding with me to boycott your establishment. Many people have contacted your corporate headquarters. I would specifically focus other areas in your restaurant then the social media sector. I don't think that is your strong suit. Thank you.

I've been to PrimBar a few times when I'm on business trips, and it's really the only place I think about going to eat. The service is always on point, my food always comes out cooked to my perfection along with my drinks promptly. Great selection of beers on tap, and I try to make it on Tuesday's for $5 burger nights. The Egg Burger is awesome, everyone should try it. I've tried other places in the Wiregrass Shopping Center but nothing really compares to the prices, service and atmosphere.

Had originally wanted to check it out for the nightlife since it's close to home, but stopped by for lunch the other day. Checked in on Yelp and got a 50% off appetizer coupon. Used the coupon for pepperjack spinach queso dip. Enjoyed that. The waiter was nice, but forgot to ask how we wanted out burgers cooked. I had the BBQ burger. It was good, but nothing spectacular. I did enjoy my cocktail. I ordered the pineapple upside down cake. I'm a fan of sweet drinks, and this was right up there. It was strong, but didn't have the "oh my god this has so much alcohol in it" taste. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio area. I would come back for lunch, and I'm planning on trying it out for the bar scene at night.

Love this place!!! Great service and huge beer selection! We always sit at the bar so we can watch football on the TV's and order apps! This is a favorite of ours! :)

Since I usually trust the reviews on Yelp I was hesitant to go here. However, one Friday night I had to valet my car at WireGrass due to how horrible the parking always is. I was going to Brass Tap but the valet told me if I went to Prime Bar afterwards I could get my valet comped. So after a few beers I headed over to Prime Bar with my friends. We received excellent service. The drinks were delicious and contained the right amount of booze and the food was amazing. I had the Mac and Cheese, and while I understand that you can't not easily mess up mac and cheese, it was one of the best mac and cheese dishes I have had in while. I recently went back to Prime Bar for happy hour and was again greeted with amazing service. Tommy was our waiter, amazingly friendly and welcoming and his friendliness wasn't just a ploy to get tips, he was genuine. We ordered drinks and again the shots were of great quality and the beers were served in icy glasses. On top of it all the food was amazing! I had the steak quesadillas and my friend had the deviled eggs. We enjoyed our meal and finished it off with the loaded kettle chips (which came at the recommendation of our server and were awesome). I will be coming back here as often as school and life allow. I love it!

I love the food at Prime Bar - the prime rib sliders are my favorite. Service is always pretty consistent too. However as with every other restaurant in Tampa Bay - the smoking ruins it all. We tried to sit on the patio on a Saturday night and had to leave after one beer due to a tablefull of cigar smokers - disgusting. There is nowhere to sit outside in the entire Wiregrass complex where you can breathe..what a shame. I will confine my visits to PB for dinner only where I can sit inside.

My girlfriend and I eat at Primebar quite often during happy hour from 4 - 7 on weekdays. If you go during normal hours, the food can be a bit pricey, but they've delivered pretty consistently good food every time we have gone. The burgers are excellent, they have a lot of choice on appetizers, and we just recently tried some of their more interesting drinks. The cucumber caliente is delicious. In Wesley Chapel you are limited in your choices to eat, but Primebar is a good option.

They have a wide variety of draft beers which is always a plus. The prices are relatively inexpensive, 10 bucks got us two large shots (the bigger the better eh?). It was my friend's birthday and they gave her a free shot. The music started out a bit "top 40 like" and then more electronic as the night went on which was a plus for me. There was a little dance floor we were able to use even though not many were dancing I took full advantage of it!

Not feeling the hate for this place at all! Been there a few times now, and had a great meal with great service every time. It's a bit pricier than it's competition, but in a great atmosphere and with plenty of open space that's ok. Got the barbeque chicken flatbread today, and it was really good. Also had the brownie bits with raspberry for dessert, and enjoyed that as well. All of that plus a Diet Coke, and I sat at the bar with my laptop and got plenty of work done today while watching two soccer games and the Casey Anthony verdict (which did cause everyone to come to a screeching halt for a few there). TV's at the bar are awesome for multi game watching too... big and bright and with plenty of angles to get more than one game in. Maybe I've just been lucky, but I'm a fan. Hopefully they can correct the issues everyone is clearly having however.

The food is a little pricey but so good, especially the prime rib sliders. It's the only real bar left in Wiregrass with Aja gone and they have a solid drink selection plus a dj on the weekends.

I'm definitely a restaurant critic and have pretty high standards. So for me, 3 stars is fair. I've been in the industry for 7 years and here are some things I noticed about prime bar. I went during happy hour with my boyfriend. We asked to sit at a high top. The server seemed nice. However, the host then sat a family with 3 kids directly behind us. Are you kidding? The entire place was empty. We are a young couple on a date having drinks. Why do I want to listen to screaming kids the whole time? I felt like I has to censor my conversation they were so close to us. So we finally moved to the actual bar and had a great time. We had drinks and happy hour food. The wings were a little too spicy and there were no other flavor options. The bar was pretty clean. But some of the glasses needed to be polished. Another downfall was the host was dressed like a porn star. She should be professionally dressed. Especially because she looks no older than 18. She's the first face people see. She seemed very lazy. Always on her phone and never cleaning tables or welcoming guests. Also, the manager stayed at the service bar for the entire 3 hours we were there. You are a manager!!!! You should be walking around talking to guests and asking how everything is. Overall I would probably go back but only for happy hour.

Seriously a great great place. I am a veryyyyyy picky eater and Primar bar was able to accommodate me in every way. Service was awesome! The entire place has a great vibe too! And of course, the food was wonderful. I highly recommend it for whatever occasion you have coming up! LM

This sports bar and grille was delicious on my first time here! A friend of mine turned me towards this spot for its burger special! The interior was nicely decorated and wait staff were pretty friendly. Service was a little slow but with it being burger special night it was understandable. The meat was cooked to perfection which is important if you're going to boast a burger special! After checking in we received a 50% appetizer which was awesome because it gave us the chance to try more of their menu for a lesser price! Props to that! It is conveniently located in the Wire Grass Mall area so it is close for shopping before and/or afterwards.

Not a fan; I have no intention of going back. How long does it take to get water, plates, and silverware..? First off, figuring out what to drink.. wine is usually marked up quite a bit but it seemed moreso than usual? The bottle I purchased tonight I normally buy for $8; here it's $32.. I'm definitely not used to bottles being 4x their grocery store price, and if they're going to do that they should probably buy ones that aren't so readily available. So apparently the waiters can't open wine for you.. a manager has to come do it, which again means extra waiting time.. Of course water is the first thing we asked for, but we didn't get water, or plates, napkins or silverware, until 10 minutes after our appetizer arrived, so that's a little frustrating. Two different staff members came up to specifically ask how our server was doing.. she was nice and did her job just fine. We looked at each other and were like, "does she suck or something? Why do they keep asking?" She was running around like a crazy lady.. how about you hire someone that handles plates, napkins, silverware and water like a normal restaurant? We ordered the calamari as an app which we were told was good, but it wasn't good at all. We each had a few bites, and then left it. Yelp gave me a 50% off app which would have at least helped, but I forgot to provide it when it was time for the bill. boo. For our entrees, I ordered the tacos and my friend had the salmon. Both were fine, but neither were anything special. The tacos were a little spicy, but they were pretty flavorless other than that. They didn't taste bad, just not like much. The salmon I was told was good and healthy; I didn't try it. We both ate our food, it's not that it was horrible, just not worth coming out for or going to again. I would choose the tacos from Chili's over these any day.
